The Southwestern Branch of the Entomological Society of America held its Annual Meeting February 25-28, 2013 in Las Cruces, NM.

The meeting began with an Insect Expo, which brought more than 1,200 local school children to learn about insects. The Las Cruces Sun-News featured the Expo on their front page in an article called “Insect Expo captivates hundreds of children during visit to NMSU,” and they made a video as well.

The Expo was also featured on local TV Station KRWG 22.
