There seem to be a lot of insect festivals around the country this time of year.

Cornell University’s Entomology Department is preparing for the 10th Annual Insectapalooza Fair.

Virginia Tech is hosting the 3rd Annual Hokie Bugfest.

Last month the University of Arizona hosted the Arizona Insect Festival.

And next month the Entomological Foundation and the Entomological Society of America are hosting an Insect Rodeo in Austin, TX.
