Videos on How to Pin Insects

Each year the Entomological Society of America has a “YouTube Your Entomology Contest,” where entomologists are invited to submit videos. One of the categories involves teaching, and over the years many instructional videos have been submitted about how to pin insects.

The first video is by Ileana Zujey Rivera, a student at the University of Puerto Rico, and David Jenkins, an entomologist with the USDA-ARS:


The next video is by Wayne Ohnesorg, an extension educator at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln:


The last three videos are by Silvia Rondon, an extension entomologist at Oregon State University:
