Interview with the Phasmid Symposium Organizer at Entomology 2013

Matan Shelomi is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California-Davis, and he also received the John Henry Comstock Award at the 2013 Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of America. Shelomi works with phasmids and organized a symposium on the insect order to bring together like-minded entomologists in one room.

The videographer and interviewer, Derek A. Woller, is a Ph.D. student who works on the evolution of scrub-lovin’ grasshoppers in the Song Laboratory of Insect Systematics and Evolution at the University of Central Florida (UCF – Orlando, FL).
