Ricardo Mariño-Pérez, a Ph.D. student who works on the systematics of Pyrgomorphidae in the Song Laboratory of Insect Systematics and Evolution at the University of Central Florida (UCF – Orlando, FL), interviewed five students from Mexico who are doing their graduate studies both in Mexico and the United States at Entomology 2013 in Austin, TX, plus a PhD from Colombia and a professional from industry in Mexico. All of the interviews were conducted in Spanish. The objective was to reach students, professors, and any other person involved with insects from Latin American countries, and to share the strong presence of Spanish-speakers at the ESA Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.
