BMSB pyramid trap

BMSB pyramid trap

Pyramid traps are designed to capture brown marmorated stink bugs for monitoring of infestation levels. A synthetic version of the insect’s aggregation pheromone in the trap is meant to lure the bugs in, but research has found that the brown marmorated stink bug doesn’t respond to its own aggregation pheromone during its overwintering period.
