A study by researchers at New Mexico State University shows that bed bugs (Cimex lectularius) are capable of hosting the pathogen that causes Chagas disease for up to 97 days, and the pathogen can persist even through the bed bug’s molting process between one nymphal stage and the next.   1. Frightening picture !. Can you imagine sleeping on a mattress full of bugs causing diseases you’ve never heard about? What can we do . sleep on the floor as our forefathers did! or throw out all your bedroom furniture? Thanks for sending me the mail which I will share myrna lapierre
