apartment building - cockroach IPM progress

In a high-rise apartment building, researchers led by Changlu Wang, Ph.D., at Rutgers University, examined the spatial distribution of German cockroach (Blattella germanica) infestations among residential units. These diagrams illustrate the infestation levels at the beginning (left) of the building-wide integrated pest management program, after six months (middle), and after 12 months (right). Units in red were heavily infested; orange had medium infestations, and yellow had light infestations. Units in white were free of cockroaches.
