Book cover for Butterflies of the Pipeline Road

The Pipeline Road Trail in Panama’s Soberania National Park is world-famous for its birds, but a new guidebook by researchers at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Gamboa, Panama, showcases 120 species of butterfly found along the trail, which co-author Sebastián Mena says may be only half of the butterfly diversity present there. 1. Hello, I’m interested to buy that book. I’ve been there a couple of times and I intend to return this year to catch butterflies. I caught different species and I need help to ID them. I have the authorization to go there as an assistant researcher with Albert Thurman. My email is : alainroy@externatsjb.com

    Thank you very much.
