Japanese beetle (Popillia japonica)

Several early warning systems aim to inform how to predict where and when invasive pests of plants might show up next, providing a valuable service both to government regulators and to members of the plant protection community who would like to stay informed. A new article in the open-access Journal of Integrated Pest Management offers an in-depth look at a variety of these early warning systems.
