Wasp nests, similar to paper manufactured by humans from trees, can be collected and repulped and used to create paper sheets or in projects involving papier-mâché. (Photo by Corey Holms via Flickr, CC BY-NC-ND 2.0)

  1. Are paper nests ever reused? The reason I ask is I was at the park yesterday and saw a huge paper nest that if they reuse it will be dangerous for people that come to the park next year. If they never reuse those nests I don’t need to do anything about it (as in tell the rangers–not do myself!!) though because it won’t endanger anyone. It is very high up and I can’t see any activity at the nest currently. Thanks to anyone who can help!
