Lieutenant Commander Hanayo Arimoto, Ph.D., is a Medical Entomologist and Department Head of Vector Control at Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit 5. She says she discovered her career path when she attended a presentation about military entomology during an ESA Annual Meeting while she was in graduate school.
