Langfang Experiment Station

Bruce Tabashnik, Ph.D., Regents’ professor and head of the University of Arizona (UA) Department of Entomology, and UA professor Yves Carrière, Ph.D., have studied how well the world’s three leading cotton-producing countries—the United States, China and India—have fared in battling resistance of pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella) to genetically engineered cotton that produces caterpillar-killing bacterial proteins.
