Lexie Beckermann field work

Lexie Beckermann was a high school research fellow at Washington University in St. Louis in 2015 when she assisted in a research study on the relationship between landscape terrain characteristics and abundance of lone star ticks (Amblyomma americanum). Here, she worked in the field baiting tick traps with dry ice and double-sided carpet tape. Beckermann is now an undergraduate student at Southeast Missouri State University.
