A collaborative, international project highlighted in a new report in the Journal of Integrated Pest Management aims to develop more environmentally and economically sustainable rice pest management strategies in in Southeast Asia. Key to this strategy is the establishment of 12 facilities—four each in China, Laos, and Myanmar—for rearing Trichogramma spp. parasitoid wasps for biological control efforts.
